@06:16Really nice work. Brings about a very unpleasant feeling, something just isn't right. The camerawork and sound really help create the whole atmosphere.
Very nice, makes you curious of what happened.

Great work.

@02:13So far, it's fantastic. Wow, the angles, the overall hue, I'm loving it.

This is my FMP (Final Major Project) for my BTEC in TV & Film Production at South Downs College. The film won second prize at the South Downs Film Festival 2010.

While the film does not contain any unsuitable content, it does however contain themes that the audience may find unsettling.

The other members of the group:
Sam Davis
Ben Dance
Jack Mcphillamy
Tom Andrews

All music was created by Ben Dance specifically for this piece.

Mr. Collins by *TomOfTheCross creates an atmosphere that draws the viewer in in the most unsettling of ways. One can't help but watch, yet get terribly disturbed. There is a version up on YouTube, uploaded by Mr Sam Davis.
Much better quality, as unfortunately the DA servers can't cope with a high amount of video content.
Which is understandable seeing as it's primarily here for pictures.

I love the whole thing, really nice camerawork.

@06:42Jesus christ, its George harvey when he was ten years younger!
[link]
George Harvey was the serial killer in The Lovely Bones and was played by Stanley Tucci.
I just watched that movie and clicked on this randomly without even knowing what it was about! Thats a creepy coincidence. Anyway, George Harvey killed a little girl of six years.

@06:42Thanks for the info, but the lovely bones was one of the influences for this film.
We weren't however trying to recreate it.
Also I already knew all of this, as I had to research the movie before we even pitched it to our tutor.

@04:03Incredible... I stopped everything i had going on a round my on my browser and just watch it. Captivating, and eerie, i want to know what in all happened to the girl, and i liked how the grandmother or mother, which ever she was, didn't scream. It was a beautiful short film. It should have one first prize. :D

@06:19Really loved the camera work here. The shaky, choppy way that the film was done gave a profound sense of instability, which was well reinforced by the distorted shot at the end. Very nice!

@06:42This was probably the most eerie film I have ever witnessed. I didn't know what to expect from the title, but the atmosphere told me everything right from the start! Excellent job on this short film. It seemed all too real. I bet there are some real weird people that live just like that too...

And by far the best in terms of atmosphere so far.

@06:42No samples bro, but I know where you're coming from.
Also the basic meaning of the film is that this kind of thing happens all the time and the scary thing is that they get away with it most of the time.
